Our Team


Sharon Schiff, President, Sales, Accounting

Sharon graduated from Ohio State with a BA in sales and merchandising. She started her career as a pharmaceutical rep and worked for several medical companies. After 13 years she joined the family business to buy and sell plastics.

In 2009 along with her partners they opened ThermoPlastic Trading where she serves as President, along with her role in sales and accounting.

Mark Rosenfield, Treasurer, Logistics, Sales

Mark graduated from Suffolk University with a BS/BA degree in marketing. After graduation, he worked for a few years as a buyer of men’s clothing for Filene’s, following by a couple years on Wall St. Following Wall St, he sold real estate for several years in Boston.

When that boom market was over, he serendipitously found himself in the plastics industry in 1992, and in 2009, along with two industry colleagues, started ThermoPlastic Trading, where as an owner, he is the Treasurer, with responsibilities in Credit Management, Logistics & Sales.

Mark’s out of work passions are as a musician and a martial artist.

Dale Schiff, Owner, Sales Manager

Dale is a graduate with a BS in sales and marketing from Ferris State University. He worked for Bristol Myers for several years but then found his life’s work in Plastics. Dale has been trading plastics for over 41 years, and brought his experience and knowledge in 2009 into his new role as owner and sales manager at ThermoPlastic Trading.

Outside of work his passions are art and photography.

Bill Lawson, Sales

After receiving a BS in Business Administration from Cumberland College in 1964, Bill worked for 19 years for Ford Motor Company in production management. Leaving Ford, Bill worked for the University of Kentucky as a Purchasing Agent until retirement.

After retirement, Bill became involved in the plastics recycling business with a local company. In 2013 Bill brought his knowledge of the industry to ThermoPlastic Trading.
